Following this priceline rebid strategy, we spent the weekend bidding on all 4* zones in the city. Our beginning bid was $140, which was rejected, then we added all 6 re-bid zones one at a time to get up to $165. Nothing was accepted ($145, $150, $155, $160, $165), even though we were between 50-60% of the going rate for some of the areas. Then last night we tried it again, and on our first bid at $140 for a 4* we won Le Parker Meridian. Don't know what changed between Sunday and Monday, but we'll take it! Now we're ready to enjoy the holiday weekend in style.
