Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Washington DC hotels - multiple areas - 06/25-06/29

Hi there

I have found the information on this site useful, and so I figured that I should contribute as well.

I have tried repeatedly to get a 3* or 3.5* hotel in the Downtown DC and Dupont Cirlce areas, and a 3.5* hotel in Arlington and Crystal City, without any luck.

I have bid as high as $110/night for the 3* and 3.5* in Downtown DC and Dupont Circle areas, and as high as $100 for the 3.5* in Arlington and Crystal City.

I really can't afford to spend more than that, but I am running out of options and time. I figured that I might as well share with the community, in case folks are planning to visit DC around that time.

I am having the same experience around those timeframes and am stuck with PRICELINE at the moment. I had accidentally booked a 3.5* for May 23-26th at got the Doubletree at $100. I wanted two beds and when I checked the site, they mentioned that there are no rooms with double beds left. My guess is something is going on that weekend.
