Priceline Hotel: 4* - San Francisco - 5/23-5/26 - unsuccessful

Hi...

Just wanted to let others know I bid starting at $90 all the way to $135 for a 4* in USE, USW using rebid zones for 5/23 -5/26 and got nothing. Finally went to different site and selected a 2star with good reviews in the area I wanted for $118 after taxes, mainly because I was guaranteed two beds and I wasn't feeling patient.

Is there something going on this week? or has summer travel started up stronger this year?

I always use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE buttons.

Sorry to hear your bids were rejected.

I do see a 5K person conference during these dates but not sure if that by itself is enough to drive prices up too much.

What hotel did you end up purchasing direct?
