furnitureman Posted May 18, 2011 Report Posted May 18, 2011 I needed a couple nights on June 8-10 in College Station Texas and decided to use Hotwire. Based on the Hotwire list of hotels here I decided to go with 2-1/2* in hopes of the Hawthorne Suites or better. Instead for $59.00/night, I ended up with the La Quinta which by most accounts is barely worthy of 2* and had a going rate of $69.00 on Expedia. Disappointing but another lesson learned.
