Maeva Posted May 18, 2011 Report Posted May 18, 2011 Hi!I will be visiting Boston with a friend on August 12th to 13th. We are looking to visit during the day (although I've been to Boston before), go out at night and dance/have a few drinks. Where should we stay?We intend on taking a cab back to the hotel after our night out! I get the Hilton Back Bay for $100/night on Hotwire. It is a good area? Of course parking is $40/night, but I'm thinking it'll be around the same price for every hotel we find in Boston.I'll use the BB links when buying the hotel, of course :)
thereuare Posted May 19, 2011 Report Posted May 19, 2011 Geographically Boston isn't that large and has a pretty good mass transit system (although it closes down a bit early) so anywhere in the 'downtown' zones (ie- Quincy Market, Boston Common, and Back Bay zones on HOTWIRE... Copley Square and Quincy Market on PRICELINE)It really comes down to what is important to you for this stay... the lowest price for a hotel at your desired star rating OR having a guess as to the property you may receive before your purchase. Personally i wouldn't worry too much about parking costs since most hotels will be about the same, and if you land a hotel with excessive rates, you can find a local lot/garage nearby to store the care for the weekend (likely cheaper than any hotel)Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly. Thanks in advance for using the HOTWIRE and PRICELINE links on the board for your purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
