Hi!! This was my first time bidding for flights on Priceline and it was so exciting!

Bid Date: Friday, May 13

Cities: Orlando to El Paso

Airports Selected: Melbourne and El Paso

Travel Dates: Thursday May 26 - Sunday May 29

Bid: $300

Total with fees: $350 and some change

Accepted on first try! I should have bid lower! I put in $300 based on the fact that total round trip costs were $480 at the cheapest I could find. I am still very happy with my success and can't wait for my friend to come visit me!!

Thank you to those who have posted about how to get unlimited bids for flights on priceline - it has to do with typing in different cities and airports while selecting the option of your true desired departure and destination airport. Knowing this I should have started lower, maybe $250? What do ya'll think, did I get a deal?

I forgot to add that the flights are all Delta - The first leaves about 4pm in Melbourne, connects in Atlanta, and arrives at ELP around 8:30pm. Bummer! That's so late!

The return flight leaves El Paso at 6am, arriving around 3pm back in Florida. Again, bummer! Sooo early!! So I will only get two full days and one extra night to spend with my friend. It's still a great deal though, and worth it if you're on a budget! I want to go back in time and get an even lower deal I am addicted like an evil money-saving genius. Haha.
