Used PRICELINE link to land a successful bid on a 4* at the Westin over Labor Day Weekend. Initial bid was $90 with rebids (adding $1 - $2) over 4 days. Bid $97, then added Skokie and increased to $99. Cheapest rate on a competitor site for this same time frame is $159.

I'll also note that while PRICELINE reservations only guarantee a regular room, it is worth asking if any river view rooms are available (which are an upgrade.) If they say no, it was worth a try. If you are able to get a river view room though, they do provide a fantastic view of the river and surrounding area. Additionally, this is a great deal for one of the city's nicest 4*'s.
