cookrussell Posted May 17, 2011 Report Posted May 17, 2011 HelloI received a priceline bidding alert for a Lake Buena Vista Orlando, FL property with the following amenities. The bid alert is for $70 a night. Do you think this is for the Hyatt? I'm currently booked at the JW Marriott for $130 a night. I think I might bid and cancel my res at the JW.

thereuare Posted May 19, 2011 Report Posted May 19, 2011 The bidding alert is only telling you that somebody won a hotel in the zone at a specific star rating... the win was not necessarily (nor is it likely) for the same dates as your own. The amenities that PRICELINE shows are specific to the star rating and not a specific property, so there is no way to determine which hotel was just received by another bidder nor the hotel you will receive if you bid. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
