aljohn
I see a lot of postings for hotels. Does anyone know if priceline is a good deal for airline tickets?I am looking for a round trip flight from Detroit (DTW) to Kona (KOA) 8/16 to 8/26/05 for a honeymoon.I'm also looking for tips about hotels and anything else during that time of the year but I thought I would read more of the forums before I ask any questions about that stuff. Thanks, Al Link to comment
thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!Better deals can often be found elsewhere and the biggest drawbacks are:1) giving up your flight time selection... you could begin your trip late at night and return early in the morning, thereby eliminating almost two days of your honeymoon (maybe not as big of a deal on a 10 day trip, but that's still potentially 20%)2) no control over layovers and connecting airportsBottomline: Unless the savings are substantial i'd rather choose my own flight times and routing.Use our AIRFARE CHECKER for an overview of prices. If this post continues on the subject of Airfare i'll move it to the Other Deals>>Airfare section of the board... if it moves towards the hotel section of your stay we'll keep it here.Congratulations on your upcoming marriage :) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
