Trying to book one night in San Juan, April 7th, checkout April 8th.Hotwire only comes up with two hotels and they're expensive!3 1/2 star=$2774 star=$351I can get the Intercontinental (no refunds) for $259. thereuare Posted May 13, 2005 Report Share Posted May 13, 2005 The San Juan area is notorious for only releasing inventory close to check-in date, so i agree, very early to draw any conclusions from your above search.However, the Sheraton Old San Juan, has been have "on and off" great rates regardless of time before check-in. They will drop rates for almost all dates to a bargain, it'll last a few weeks, and then rates will go back up again, only to have the cycle repeat itself again. This 'cycle' has happened a couple of times already so can't no for certain if it will happen again and again or if it was them 'learning' the market given that they only recently took over the property.
