Hotwire Hotel: Help ID, 3.5* Mcallen (downtown)

I am trying to book a hotel for a week from May28th until June3rd in McAllen, TX and i can't figure out which hotel is this

3.5 Stars. 68$/night

Complimentary Breakfast

Fitness Center

Pool

High-Speed Internet Access

From the looks of it there is only 2, 3.5* Hotels in that area, I did use the HOTWIRE link provided, any idea which hotel it could be would be appreciated.

Unfortunately the property above has not yet been reported to the board, but with a very low 40% recommendation from previous HOTWIRE guests i would likely look elsewhere, perhaps even at the 3* hotel even though it has a lower star rating, the reviews seem somewhat better.

well i was comparing those 3.5* on priceline/tripadv and Expedia and they all looked good maybe the 40% is misleading?

One of the issues is that you don't know that this 3.5* is also rated 3.5* on the services you're checking. Each service uses their own criteria to rate hotels, so it's possible that this 3.5* HOTWIRE property is 3* rated on the other services you're using to check.

Possibly... but that would be a big/risky assumption, imo.

Since this a multi-nite stay you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.

thanks, im just going to book a named hotel instead, i dont think its worth the risk for multiple days, what i had done is look at all hotwire named hotels and only 2 3.5* came up, i have a feeling that it is Renaissance Casa de Palmas in McAllen hotel, simply because there is no reviews listed.
