firstlady Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 I'm really trying to land at the Hotel Palomar or The Dupont Hotel; Both are 4 star. I'm looking for the modern, trendy hotels in this area close to the Metro stops. I realize there's no way to pinpoint any hotel on Hotwire or Priceline. I researched the prices and it seems the median is about $180/night. I'm thinking I'll try my luck with priceline. Should I start with 1 night and add additonal nights if I land one of the brands I'm aiming for? Or is this not cost effective?
AaronJB Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 I would not suggest trying to use PRICELINE in order to get a particular property or style of property. HOTWIRE - which may not be showing the property/kind of property you're looking for - is a better choice, as it's easier to try and make an educated guess as to which hotels are showing. What would be your desired budget per night?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
