nycmb404 Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 Just beginning to do a search (using the HOTWIRE links on this site) for a 2 night stay in DC: White House - Capitol Hill Area:3.5 Star - $92Amenities:--Fitness Center--Restaurant--Business Center--Hi-Speed Internet -Recommended in 90 % of Hotwire customer reviews 4 Star - $113Amenities:--Fitness Center--Pool--Restaurant--Business Center--Hi-Speed Internet-Recommended in 90 % of Hotwire customer reviews Another question: I searched for Dupont Circle area as well. One 3* hotel came up at $118, but it doesn't list any amenities. Am i missing something? As always, your help is very appreciated.
thereuare Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 Best guess for the 3.5* White House property is the Hamilton Crowne Plaza while the best guess for the 4* in this zone would be the Hyatt Regency.Regarding the 3* Dupont Circle property, sometimes a hotel will choose to not show any amenities. Usually these hotels do offer some of the amenities represented by the icons, but elect to not show any to make it even more of an opaque experience... i have reason to think that this may be the Holiday Inn Central-White House (1501 Rhode Island Ave NW) and that would be my best guess for this one, but obviously can't be too confident with no amenities showing)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. thereuare Posted May 14, 2011 Report Posted May 14, 2011 The Hotel Palomar, Dupont Hotel and Westin City Center have all been seen with this amenity combination, so any of these are possible, but for the above the Westin would be my best guess for this offer. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help.
