echo Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 Hi everyone!First, I would like to thank you for the site, it was very useful for me!I would like to report a successful bid on Hudson Hotel for $161. I'm very happy with the hotel location, but a little concerned on the room size. I read that it's possible to negotiate directly with the hotel to upgrade the room. Do you guys think it's a good idea? The Standard Queen room has 144-167 sqft and the Superior Queen room, 170 sqft. It doesn't seem to be a big difference...
AaronJB Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 Congrats on your success and Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Very nice deal for this NYC property! You can definitely try to call/write and discuss options with the hotel, but I think if the room sizes are not significantly different, it may not be worth it. Additionally, if you're not going to be in the room a lot, hopefully the size of the rooms won't be quite as much of an issue. Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
echo Posted May 11, 2011 Author Report Posted May 11, 2011 Thanks, I guess you're right! It's our first time in NY, we'll basically just sleep on the hotel...
echo Posted June 2, 2011 Author Report Posted June 2, 2011 By any chance, do you guys have an email of Hudson Hotel I can write to? I've tried the form in their website 3 times with no lucky...Basically, I want to confirm the reservation, ask for an early checkin and know if I could buy online and have it delivery on the hotel.
scottlevin Posted June 3, 2011 Report Posted June 3, 2011 Sounds like it's time to pick up a telephone.
