DelaSarre Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 Hello there,my first post. Thank you all already a lot! I learned so much just reading in this forum.Currently I'm searching accomodation for a stay in Las Vegas and I wonder what the following surprise might be:'Near Strip West area condo' 4.5*check-in 2011/05/23check-out 2011/05/261 room 2 guestsRate per night: $89.00Nights: 3Rooms: 1charges & fees: $43.12Total: $310.11Amenities:StudioFully-equipped KitchenCasinoDaily HousekeepingAir-ConditioningFitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterFront Desk24-hour Front DeskGolf NearbySpa ServicesCondoHaven't seen any 4.5* hotel in this area ever been won. So which one could it be? Any guesses?Thank you all!P.S.: Of course I was using the support links for my search, and will do so in case of booking.
thereuare Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding! This property has not yet been reported to the board, but it has been asked about previously, and the best guess is the Palms Place (new condo-style section of the Palms Hotel and Casino)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
DelaSarre Posted May 10, 2011 Author Report Posted May 10, 2011 Thanks for your response. Palms Place was also my best guess. And that's the reason why I'm very interested. Because apart from booking via Hotwire or Priceline the Palms would be our very first choice. Actually we have already decided to stay at the Palms and I only wanted to have a quick look to Hotwire to avoid missing a super bargain..How probable would you think this guess is true? What could even be the alternatives?
thereuare Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 This would be my best guess, not sure of any alternatives but can't say with too much certainty until it's purchased/reported to the board. You could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay.PLEASE use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. nrgfink Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 I'm not sure if this is relevant or not but I figured I would put it out there because I was looking at the same hotel:The Palms Place as also recently (currently?) featured on Tripadvisor's bargain site Sniqueaway... Which leads me to believe that they have extra rooms which makes it more likely that it would be on Hotwire? Again... no guarantees :)Disclaimer: There is nothing scientific about my method haha
DelaSarre Posted May 11, 2011 Author Report Posted May 11, 2011 Thank you! Very smart advice. Did the booking over there at SA.Sorry that I could not contribute to the betterbidding hotel find. Am still looking for another accomodation in SFO. Maybe I can make that purchase via PRICELINE or HOTWIRE (using your support links).
thereuare Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 Glad you found something which works for your needs.Enjoy your time in Vegas. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
cmer Posted May 12, 2011 Report Posted May 12, 2011 This is the Palms. See my Hotwire Las Vegas post.
