Hotwire Hotel: 3* Detroit (Airport DTW) Clarion

I've been trying Priceline to find an affordable hotel at DTW for night prior to my early flight. Bidding there was not going well, so decided to explore Hotwire and found a 3* for $47. The 3*'s listed on the hotel list (which I know is not all inclusive) were quite acceptable, so I bought the 3*.

Surprise, surprise, it wasn't any of the 3 hotels listed, but the Clarion! And the reviews are horrible!! And I could buy the night at the hotel on their website for $54 so saved a whopping $7. Oh wait, it gets better, I could have bought the night I needed on a non-refundable rate for $46 -- so I lost $1. Never, never again will I do Hotwire... I just got royally RIPPED OFF.

Is there anywhere I can complain on Hotwire where I might get a response. This really sucks....

Can you please add a reply to this thread with the amenities shown before your purchase... you can still view this information by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page.

Sorry to see that you don't like the outcome. Yes, the reviews are mixed for this property. Let's hope the hotel is better than the reviews. You can call/mail HOTWIRE with your concern for this property. Contact information can be found in your confirmation. If that don't work so try to call HOTWIRE again when you arrive to the hotel and don't like it.
