happymom13 Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 After reading this forum I decided to try Priceline.com for a hotel in downtown Tallahassee. Priceline minimum bid was $55 for a 3 star hotel. Decided to submit a $50 bid and surprisingly enough, it was accepted. The hotel is Doubletree in Tallahassee. For 3 nights, taxes and fees $178.38 in mid June 2011. Best internet unrestricted rate $139/night AAA rate starts at $118/night. Good deal but afraid I'll be given a crappy room and get snubbed with 'priceline treatment'.
