TommyV Posted May 6, 2011 Report Posted May 6, 2011 I started bidding at $85 a couple days ago, focusing only on 4* in Toronto Downtown South. I increased my bids by $5 increments each time. I ended up adding "Toronto Downtown North" (which also has 4* hotels) for my last 2 bids. I ended up with The Sutton Place Hotel for $125 /night. It's a little more than I expected but not horrible. It appears to be an average hotel, which should work just fine. This will be my first time visiting Toronto. Does anyone have any suggestion on things to do? I will most likely be taking a Niagara Falls tour, as soon as I figure out which one to book.
thereuare Posted May 6, 2011 Report Posted May 6, 2011 Congratulations on your success! While a bit more than you originally intended to spend, glad to see you're happy with the results.I haven't been to Toronto in many years, but taking in the view from CN Tower is a 'touristy' thing to do. As well, when i visited as a kid i remember enjoying the Museum of Science and Technology, which was more of a 'hands on' museum rather than a 'look at' museum which i enjoyed... not sure if it's still good, but if interested that would be something else to look into.Thank you for sharing your win with the board. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Enjoy your stay.
