for 9 days between 7/4 to 7/13: cost US$ 260, plus tax about US$100, total US$360.

However, when I called budget, I was informed a Ford Tauraus may be considered as a premium car in Canada?

I lost...Anyone can help?

Once you have figured out your best deal, then you can start trying to beat it via Priceline or HOTWIRE. (although don't expect the kind of savings we see with hotels).

Also, you can't use your upgrade coupon on a priceline or hotwire reservation.
