cppwiz Posted May 4, 2011 Report Posted May 4, 2011 Well Priceline really made me work for this one with all the rebidding I had to do. Hotwire was listing a 4 star for $233 so I thought I would start low and try to find the cheapest price I could get in the Quincy Market or Harbor Front areas.start 4* or 3.5* $88 - rejectedstart over, 4* only - find areas with no 4* hotels96 - Brighton - rej102 - Fenway - rej112 - Medford - rej123 - North Cambridge - rej136 - South Boston - rejstart over, add 3.5* - find areas with no 3.5* hotels88 - Brighton - rej102 - Fenway - rej123 - Medford - rej142 - North Cambridge - rej163 - South Boston - rejstart over, add 3* - find areas with no 3* hotels166 - initial bid for Quincy Market or Harbor Front - rejected, but received a Priceline offer for $206 - declined187 - Fenway - rej206 - North Cambridge - acceptedIn the end, I got a great location for what was apparently the cheapest price, however I've never paid this much for a room in NYC, Philly or DC. Boston is an expensive city!
