Hi Everyone, I've clicked on the links at the top of the forums (hotwire and priceline)

I currently have rooms at the venetian booked but its about 320 per night average (they are refundable)

The reason I am looking to change is because a few guys dropped out and we would rather get something less expensive but still keep the spacious type rooms. And good amenities.

I am too looking for a hotel on Memorial Day weekend 5/27-5/29. I want only 5*, two rooms, and would prefer the strip north or south (no condos).

200per night would be acceptable for this type of accomodation, but of course if you think we can do better that is always a good thing.

We are headed out on a bachelor party so we want to be close to the strip - there will be 8 of us.

I am also interested in MGM grand. A few friends have told me that the pool there wet republic is a lot of fun for young people.

So far I have bid on the north strip only @ 125. My bid was not accepted. Priceline only so far.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

To start with. Please note that PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, which means you may receive a room with only one bed and the hotel could assign you a room with only one bed. You could request a room with two beds, but the hotel could be unable, or unwilling, to accommodate your request... or charge an additional fee if they are willing to accommodate you request. Are ok with this?

Thanx for using boards PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links :)

Just to confirm before bidding, there is at least one 5* hotel in the Strip South zone which does not have a casino, would this be acceptable?

Please confirm and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow.

I am really glad you brought that up. We would prefer to have a casino.

I guess doing only north would make the most sense? Atleast until there are no other options than the south.
