Used the PRICELINE link at the top of the page.

Bid $40 on 3.5* for Pittsburgh Airport area. Rejected but was asked to increase bid by $15 (to $55) to try again in same area.

Looking at the info on the board, I thought I'd take my chances with a rebid and added Greentree (there is no 3.5* in Greentree, so it's a 'freebie') and bid $48.

I got Pittsburgh Marriott Airport - which is good for us because I was considering booking this hotel directly for $89 a night!

I always consult this site - hope I was able to contribute.

We had already got 2 nights at the Marriott Pittsburgh Airport via Priceline at $48/night (already posted that). Once we were there we had a need to stay another night. We inquired with the front desk what the rate would be and they said $229. I went down to the business center, used the PRICELINE link on this site, chose 3.5 stars in the Pitt Airport area and bid $48. I got the Marriott on the first try. Went over to the front desk and asked if we could stay in the same room we were already in and they said yes. Easy!

I am so new to this so forgive my ignorance....You could have gotten the Hyatt or Embassy right?

How did you like the Marriot ? I am looking for the weekend and I have considered that hotel.
