thereuare Posted May 4, 2011 Report Posted May 4, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding!Few things to cover...If you go to MAPSandHOTELS.com and enter your address, you'll see just how few hotels are near this location (vs. looking at the cluster of hotels in midtown just south of Central Park). Fortunately NYC is compact enough that there there are still plenty of hotels within 1.25 miles (thanks google for the conversion :) ) but realize you likely won't necessarily be that close to the hospital (and the subway is a good 10 minute walk to the hospital)As far as the amenities you've mentioned... most NYC hotels at the 3.5* level don't offer a complimentary breakfast, almost all will have internet (for a fee), fitness center will be hit-or-miss depending upon the size of the hotel. As far as restaurant in the hotel, you don't need it as there are restaurants ALL OVER the city. When will your dates be firm as that will determine what prices might be possible, and there are some zones you'll likely be bidding where you may want to 'reach' for a 4* rather than a 3.5*.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
