goat Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 been looking for a while and want to stay on the strip....worried about what 4* there are on the strip. Can anyone give me any advice.
thenewbie Posted May 11, 2005 Report Posted May 11, 2005 Venetian's rates for your nights are Fri $279 & Sat $259. Depending on your budget, this may be too much per night on Priceline.Use the hotel price checker, http://www.betterbidding.com/index.php?act...&f=115&t=12153& to find rates for the 4* properties.
thereuare Posted May 11, 2005 Report Posted May 11, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding! Here is a direct link to the Las Vegas Rate Checker. You can see previous hotels won in the HOTWIRE HOTEL LIST and PRICELINE HOTEL LIST.Keep in mind that the opaque services are not always (often) the best deals in Vegas (except when going for 5* hotels). If you let us know your budget we'll try to help you find the best deal that meets your criteria. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
goat Posted May 25, 2005 Author Report Posted May 25, 2005 After a few bids in LV it just goes to a propmt page that says thank you for naming your own price....here are what options we have found for you....it wont let you re-bid...is this new...is there anyway around it??
thereuare Posted May 26, 2005 Report Posted May 26, 2005 Close the browser and re-access priceline however you did previously. You still can't duplicate any of your bids, but you should be able to continue bidding with appropriate re-bid zones. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
goat Posted September 27, 2005 Author Report Posted September 27, 2005 I ended up not being able to find a 4 star hotel for that weekend at a low price. I ended up not staying the extra day.
