Tried repeatedly through the PRICELINE link on this board to snag a 3.5 or 4 star downtown Minneapolis hotel from 6/22 to 6/26. I cant get a nibble under $100!

Are they giving something away that weekend there? Anybody know why it's so high? No Twins in town....

It looks like rates for your weekend dates are a little higher then the midweek dates, is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option?

I did see find this event: Moondance Jammin Country 2011 taking place over the weekend, i'm not sure how big of a draw it is, but this may be effecting hotel prices for the weekend.

HOTWIRE does have a 3.5* hotel for $109/nite wtih:

Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Laundry, Golf icons

I'm guessing this is the Sheraton Midtown, which appears to get good reviews except for the location, as it appears to be in the very south end of the HOTWIRE zone... would this possibly work for your needs?
