thereuare Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 There is no telling what 4* hotel you will get, but $150 for early November would seem to be a pretty good deal for a 4* hotel during this time of year.Previously i had posted that the Empire Hotel was a 4* hotel in this zone but that's not correct... this hotel is in the CPS zone but the Empire is in PRICELINE's Upper West Side zone. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Chiquita24 Posted May 23, 2011 Author Report Posted May 23, 2011 I have been browsing for a couple of weeks now and have read about the bidding strategy and all of the helpful information on this forum, but I am not ready to start bidding yet. I am waiting on others to finalize our travel plans. I see so many great deals by using the bidding strategy, but I realize that the time of the year makes a huge difference. My question is, how realistic would it be to get a 3.5* - 4* hotel in Novemeber (11/4-11/7) in the MTW, MTE, CPS area for under $200/night? I looked at the calendar of wins, based on 2010, there was only one 4 star win in the MTW and it was for $270. I'm anxious to start bidding to see if I can get a great deal.
thereuare Posted May 24, 2011 Report Posted May 24, 2011 Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread.Based upon current rates i don't think a 3.5* property at $200 or under is likely, but LOTS can change between now and November. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
