Priceline Hotel: 3* Kansas City (Downtown)

Noticed today that the hotel at 1301 Wyandotte St, that was a Doubletree is now a Radisson. Don't know at this stage wether any renovations/upgrading etc is planned.

I certainly hope they do some upgrades to the hotel as well as putting additional staff on. The downtown Doubletree is the reason I won't bid 3 stars for downtown KCMO anymore. We had an old, well worn room and no staff at the front desk or restaurant to respond to our needs. While I could live with the room, waiting several minutes at the front desk to check in, the fact the front desk clerk had to do double duty as the valet and that the only waiter in the restaurant had to do triple duty as the host, waiter and room service really stunk.

So here's hoping for a little more staff and room renovations.
