Priceline Hotel: 4* Los Angeles (Hollywood) W Hotel Hollywood

Saw the hotel at hotwire for $136 at this time. Started with $106 and became a offer to rebid for $25 more. I dont made this deal and added West Hollywood ($ 116) and finally Santa Monica ($121). Maybe I could get it for one or two $ cheaper :) But i think its a good deal. Now i only need a hotel in Monterey and San Francisco and our trip to California is compled... :)

Do you have some recommendations for the area or hotel in San Francisco and Monterey? In which area do you think I get the cheapest 4*? Thanks!!!

For SF, either Union Square East or Union Square West are the closest to all the tourist attractions. SOMA and Financial District are close seconds for good tourist-y zones. Fisherman's Wharf is a solid third place. Civic Center zones would probably be *okay* but not great.

Monterey all the great hotels are in one zone, luckily. The Intercontinental and the Abrego are on HOTWIRE for 9/6-9/7.
