budnjake Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 Hello all,Wanting to bid for a 5 star hotel on Las Vegas strip. My question is, is Trump Hotel considered a condo when bidding? That would be the only 5 star I would not care to stay at. Las Vegas strip North, or South is fine. Never bid on priceline before, and I think I have done my homework, but still a little nervous about making that initial bid. Priceline shows detail map of Las Vegas Strip North, Las Vegas Strip vicinity North-condo, and Las vegas Strip vicinity South (but no Las Vegas strip south). I am wanting to land Wynn, Palazzo, Cosmopolitan, Vdara, Encore, Venetian, etc..anything but Trump.Thoughts?Thank you
AaronJB Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)You can see the list of hotels reported to the board in LV at this Priceline Hotel List. The Trump has been previously reported in the Strip North Vicinity area.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
budnjake Posted April 25, 2011 Author Report Posted April 25, 2011 Thank you for your response. As I look at the link for which you provided, it does show Trump in the Strip North Vicinity-Condo, so can we assume that if I do not select Strip North Vicinity-condo on the bidding page that I would not end up with the trump?Thank you
AaronJB Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 The Trump was last reported in that zone. If you do not select that zone, then you would not get the Trump. Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
budnjake Posted April 26, 2011 Author Report Posted April 26, 2011 Priceline bid on 5 star, LV strip vicinity North, LV strip south rejected at $90, added near strip east and bid $95, rejected. So then I said "heck with it, I will go to Hawaii", used your link to PRICELINE, tried resort, Waikiki Beach at $90, rejected and offered free re-bid of $115.00, decided to by-pass free bid, and add a zone, added Waikiki City Central, bid resort at $95, accepted to Waikiki Beach Marriott for $95.00. Very pleased for my first ever Priceline outing.
AaronJB Posted April 27, 2011 Report Posted April 27, 2011 Congrats on your success! :)Awesome deal for this Marriott property, and very nice first win.Thank you for sharing your win and using the site's PRICELINE link.Enjoy your stay.
