paxpuella
This was my first time using priceline and wasn't sure what to expect. I bid $35 one time for Kansas City North area and received this hotel. It is a economy/studio type room. When we got there it was only for 1 bed, so we added an extra bed for $10 more dollars a night in order to sleep comfortably. The room was clean and somewhat comfortable, but I will bid a little more money next time to see if something better will come up. thereuare
Welcome to BetterBidding!Thank you for sharing your win with the rest of the board. I don't think it's a matter of bidding higer for a better hotel, but more so sticking with the higher star ratings (although they may indeed require a higher bid). For your next stay feel free to ask for help by posting in the appropriate state category and we'll be happy to suggest a bidding strategy to follow.Exactly which hotel did you receive and which zone does priceline classify it in? I did a search for "worlds of fun hotel" and came up with many hotels (Holiday Inn, Best Western, etc) that include this in their name... is there actually a hotel named "Worlds of Fun"? Can you also please add the date(s) of your stay and i'll include them in the topic title. Thanks again for sharing your experiences with the rest of us. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
