tk72 Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 I have made a few bids on priceline staring at 100$ and upping it in increments of approximately 5 to 127$ with no luck. Wanted to know is it better for me to try closer to the date? Dont really want to pay more than 130$/ 140$.Suggestions welcome. Thx.
thereuare Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 Nobody can say whether rates will come down, or move even higher, between now and your stay... it will all be based upon how actual reservations/cancellations come in relative to expectations. However, current rates are high for these dates and unless you see a pretty big change in rates, something is going to have to 'give'... either you'll need to increase your budget, lower your star rating or consider adding nearby zones.Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. tk72 Posted April 23, 2011 Author Report Posted April 23, 2011 It's quite some time before I actually travel, so I will just stick to my price and continue trying, I guess. :)
