Arlington Heights 3* rejected $37

July 5 -10, 2011: 5 nights

Bided up to $37 for Arlington Heights zone 3stars. However, rejected used a few free rebids. I started my bids at $31 and increased 2 dollars each time. Maybe it is a little too early.

Lowest rate for this zone is 3* Sheraton Suites Elk Grove $105 a night.

What appears to be the Sheraton Suites is showing at $94 for these dates on HOTWIRE; my guess is that it will probably take a bit higher than $37, but you're also probably a bit early and I wouldn't bid too much higher at this point. Depending on where you need to be, the 3.5* level in the Schaumburg zone also has a nice Hyatt, among a couple of other possibilities.

Thanks, we are just traveling to Chicago to site see. But, we wanted to stay in the Suburbs to avoid the massive traffic. So, we may consider Schaumburg zone.

Schaumburg's nice (the IKEA's fun to browse around), and the Deerfield/North Shore zones are very nice to the North of the city.

The Ravinia Outdoor Music Festival (ravinia.org) is on all Summer and that's in the North burbs, and the Chicago Botanic Garden (despite the name, it's in a 'burb; chicagobotanic.org) is also just down the street from Ravinia. There's also two different Metra train lines that run near the Deerfield and North Shore zones and head downtown.
