Extra info I've gathered:

I'm pretty sure this is the same hotel that has be theorized to possibly be the Palms Place (Hotwire hotel thread). However... I checked the website for the palms place and it's listed as sold out on the 7th, first night of my stay. Does this mean it is definitely not the Palms Place? Or do I still have a shot at it? Just curious if the veterans of the board had seen something like this before where the website was "sold out" but there were still rooms available for places like HOTWIRE and PRICELINE.

Please start by reading your messages.

We have seen PRICELINE / HOTWIRE wins when the hotel was otherwise showing sold-out for the dates, although this is much more the exception then the rule.

I'm not sure why the hotel's website is showing sold-out for this nite as they're showing availability thru Expedia (and other sources)

While the sold-out condition at the hotel website does raise a bit of caution, my best guess is still that this is the Palms Place.

Seems like every time I find a deal it becomes "too real" for my friends and everyone shyly backs away from committing before anyone else does... They want to put off booking... again... so looks like I'm not going to have any updates for this thread D:

I really wanted to know if it was the Palms Place haha. I'll probably be back on the boards in July whenever the birthday girl decides it's time to book.
