Priceline Hotel: 4* NYC (MTE) Grand Hyatt

I really wanted 3 nights but have bid unsuccessfully for a 4* in MTE AND MTW up to $120 (going with a friend on a tight budget and I wanted to avoid 3* if I could). Normal rates for sunday 7/24 were a lot less than for the next 2 week nights so I decided to split my bid and go for the first night only at this time. Preferred MTE to MTW so started:-

Bid $100 4* MTE - rejected

then $105 MTE and upper east side (free rebid) - accepted at Grand Hyatt Park Avenue.

More than happy. Now just the next 2 nights to sort out.
