Considering everything in Georgetown was booked for Red Poppy Days, Round Rock was a bargain and close enough. It was cool to have a relaxing bar in a Holiday Inn. The room was fairly standard HI- never enough light for me but perfectly comfortable for a one night stay. If we were staying longer, we would have gone to the pool- no time. The area around the hotel has several restaurants- one locally owned cafe across the street; a Chuys and Cracker Barrel within walking distance. Close to the highway but set back from the access road so that road noise is not a problem.All of the staff were helpful and up-beat. We would stay there again. Link to comment
