Yul1234 Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 I am looking to book a downtown hotel with hotwire in copenhagen. I don't want end up staying at the Crowne Plaza though.Looking at the map of hotwire, it seems that the crowne plaza is not included in the map. But there is reports that the Crowne Plaza was booked with Hotwire before.Anyone knows if HOTWIRE map is reliable?

thereuare Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 I believe it's outside of the zone, but Bing maps puts this property in an entirely different location inside the zone which i'm speculating is what HOTWIRE has used to define the boundaries of this property.HOTWIRE customer service is actually pretty good and if you received the Crowne Plaza, and it is indeed outside of the zone, i do think they would issue you a refund since the hotel is located outside of the agreed upon terms, BUT it could potentially be a pretty big hassle to get somebody to listen as well as get somebody who has the authority to negate the transaction. What are the date(s) of your stay? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Yul1234 Posted April 27, 2011 Author Report Posted April 27, 2011 Just an update:I didn't want to use HOTWIRE as I was worried to get the Crowne plaza. Therefore I just booked the Wake Up Copenhagen for 100 $. Nice hotel. Small rooms, no real amenities but very clean place. On the train from/to the airport, you pass by the Crowne Plaza. Be careful, this hotel is FAR away from downtown. Was really glad that I did not go with HOTWIRE.
