Really keen to identify either of the hotels below:

4* Gaslamp Quarter North - Horton Plaza area hotel

95* Recommend and 4/5 on Trip Advisor

Amenities: No Smoking, Fitness Center, Restaurant, Business Center, High-Speed Internet & Spa Services

8/30/11 - 9/3/11 @ $118 per night. From Hotwire.

Alternatively:

4* Gaslamp Quarter North - Horton Plaza area hotel

100* Recommend and 4.5/5 on Trip Advisor

Amenities: Pool, Fitness Center, Restaurant, Business Center & High-Speed Internet

8/30/11 - 9/3/11 @ $172 per night. From Hotwire.

HOTWIRE will only show one hotel at each star level per zone... are you sure both hotels are in the Gaslamp Quarter North zone? (or perhaps the second property is in the Gaslamp Quarter South - Convention Center zone?

My apologies, you're absolutely right. The second hotel is Gaslamp Quarter South - Convention Center area hotel.

The 4* Horton Plaza would be a possible match for the Westgate; the South is a possible match for a number of different properties, including the Solamar, Omni, Westin Gaslamp Quarter and possibly Hilton Gaslamp or Hilton Bayfront.
