Hot Chokolate Posted April 18, 2011 Report Posted April 18, 2011 Hi Everyone, This is my first time on this site, and i'm not sure how it works exactly.I want to stay at the Planet Hollywood REsort and Casino in Vegas from June 2 - June 7.The price just keeps going up... :)How can I tell if it's one of hte "secret hotels" on Hotwire, (or any other booking site that has secret hotels). Thanks in advance,
thereuare Posted April 18, 2011 Report Posted April 18, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding! Please start by reading your messages. What is your budget (per nite before fees/taxes for this stay) If you search HOTWIRE for your dates is there a 4* hotel in the Strip South zone which appears within your budget? If so, what are the amenities associated with the property offered? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Hot Chokolate Posted April 19, 2011 Author Report Posted April 19, 2011 My budget is "as cheap as possible"..lol.When I first started looking the price was $113/night (I wish I had booked then :) )Since then- it just keeps going up in price :)If i could get it for around $100/night that would be great. When I search on HOTWIRE - there are 2 hotels that are around my budget, they are as follows:$129/night- smoke free rooms- fitness centre- pools- restaruants- spa servicesand $106/night- casino- fitness centre- pools - restaruants- business centre- golf nearby- spa services
yellowdog Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 hot ChokolateCan you please post the zone and star rating for the hotels you need help with. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Yellowdog.
Hot Chokolate Posted April 20, 2011 Author Report Posted April 20, 2011 Hello, As for the zone -it is on the centre of the strip, but on hotwire and priceline I believe it hows as being on the "south strip"The * rating is 4*'s
yellowdog Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 HOTWIRE calls the zones South and North. But i understand that you mean South. But both hotels can't be rated 4* in the same HOTWIRE zone. Please clarify the rating for both hotels. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Yellowdog.
Hot Chokolate Posted April 20, 2011 Author Report Posted April 20, 2011 Sorry about that...The hotel for $129 is showing as a 5* and the hotel howing at $106 is showing as a 4*
thereuare Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 The 5* matches previous reports for the Vdara while the 4* matches both the MGM Grand and NYNY, so these would be my best guess for each of these. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
