Priceline Hotel: 3* Oklahoma City (Airport OKC) Wyndham Garden Hotel

I started bidding for a 2.5* hotel in the Edmond, Frontier City, Oklahoma City North, & Tinker-Del City areas, starting with $35. I bid up to $45 but my bids weren't accepted. This was unusual because in the past I've gotten the Crowne Plaza several times for $35 in the Oklahoma City North area. However, I see that whereas this used to be deemed a 2.5* hotel, it has now been elevated to a 3* hotel on Priceline.

Then I got on this forum and saw that a lot of people were having success with a $38 bid in the Will Rogers Airport Area (OKC), so I bid $38 for a 3* hotel in this area and got the Wyndham Garden Hotel. I was bidding on 2 rooms for 1 night. I bid during a 48-sale where $5 Priceline bonus cash was included in my bid price, so I actually only paid $33 + $9.26 in taxes and fees or $42.26/room!
