regtur Posted April 17, 2011 Report Posted April 17, 2011 This period seems expensive.I tried the Convention Center area not Downtown yet, as I am not sure if I would like to end up in the Marriott Chateau Champlain. I do realise that in the calendar there are a few $95 dollar successes for 14/7 and 15/7 in the Marriott.
AaronJB Posted April 17, 2011 Report Posted April 17, 2011 Sorry to hear that your bids haven't yet been accepted. :)What would be your desired max budget per night in the Convention Center zone, before you consider adding Downtown?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
regtur Posted April 18, 2011 Author Report Posted April 18, 2011 I guess $115,- was close to my maximum. I added Downtown and placed a bit for $101,-, no success yet. I guess that the 'problem' is 7/16 which seems to be a rather expensive night. Obviously I could for bid 7/15 and try to add an extra night as discussed elsewhere at this forum, but I don't want to take the risk of needing to move for a single night. So not sure yet what my next move will be. Maybe I will give it another try up to %115 for both Convention Center and Downtown.

If the hotel is available for the same price, then your current bids for both nites would be accepted. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Keep us updated and once you decide how you'd like to move forward let us know if we can be of further help.
