penguinnj Posted April 16, 2011 Report Posted April 16, 2011 Priceline bid accepted @ $150 for a 2 night stay on 5-18-11 to 5-20-11 at the Hotel SorrentoBidding started at $69 and I bid for 4 days adding zones and raising my bid to 75 then 80 then 95 then 101 then 110 then 120 then 130 then 140 finally won at 150.I would have stopped at 150 anyway and seen if Hotwire added a 4 star hotel for the same dates- until this point they have only had 3 1/2 * resorts listed and I have been checking in for about a month.This is a pre-cruise stay so the dates were not negotiable and I really wanted a 4* hotel but would have dropped down if price went much beyond 150.
