Priceline Hotel: Bellagio Fountain View

Anyone have any suggestions for hotels in addition to Bellagio that have great Bellagio fountain views? Any opinions on Vdara?

I am also interested in whether Bellagio is ever one of the Hotwire/Priceline offers and if there is a specific amenity that might give it away?

With PRICELINE / HOTWIRE you can only choose the star level and zone, not the specific hotel you will receive, so it wouldn't be possible to ensure a hotel with a view of the fountains. Even if you won a hotel which had views of the Bellagio Fountains, the hotel may consider this an upgraded room and may not assign you one on your PRICELINE / HOTWIRE reservation.

If you must have a view of the fountains then PRICELINE / hot.wrie are not likely going to be your best option... if you're flexible and looking for a great deal on a 5* hotel, any 5* hotel in the zone you select, then PRICELINE and HOTWIRE can offer some great savings.

I am definitely open to other hotels - and the fountain is not a must have. I was just exploring my options as I'm sure many people do. And mostly, was curious if the Bellagio has any other amenities / characteristics that I'd be able to spot on hotwire/priceline listings.

If using PRICELINE is there no way to ID any hotels. You have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star rating (or higher) you select.

If you're trying to target a specific property then HOTWIRE can often be a better option if you're successfully able to identify it based upon the star rating and amenities shown before your purchase... the trade-off is that HOTWIRE usually costs a little more than PRICELINE, so you need to decide what is most important to you for a given stay, the lowest possible price OR the ability to take an educated guess as to the property you may receive.
