abstrakmind Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Hi..I was going through the priceline winning post to figure out a good amount to bid. While the information is helpful, I was thinking if we can also add something like (WE = Weekend, WD = Weekday) rate to the topic. Generally hotel rate differ so much from the normal weekday rate in comparison to the weekend rate. I don't know if this was ever brought up, but it would help when other people are looking for an average bidding price. For example:5* Las Vegas (Strip South) Vdara$75 ... 6/21/11-6/23/11 WDThis way I know not to bid so low when searching for a weekend reservation. Of course I can still look at your priceline/hotwire calendar, but this might help in general when looking through the forum.
abstrakmind Posted April 16, 2011 Author Report Posted April 16, 2011 Bid $105 with North strip - not acceptedBid $110 with South strip - not acceptedbid $115 with North Strip Condo - Accepted I think if you want to stay at the Trump Tower, you can probably get it accepted at $105 if North Strip Condo was selected firstanyway...
