mattrob
I am looking to book the Wynn, seeing it on HOTWIRE for $85 for my dates (2 nights starting at 11 July). Would it be likely to win it at a better price on PRICELINE ? What are your thoughts ? Link to comment
TheBugster
Yes, PRICELINE will usually be cheaper, but you are risking which hotel it is against HOTWIRE where you can make an educated guessI won the Wynn the other day - HOTWIRE was $100 a night and PL came in at $96 - a saving anyhowJust make sure you select North not the North Condo - as you'll probably get the Trump Towers!! yellowdog
mattrobIt's hard to say. Venetian is also a frequent hotel on PRICELINE. And you have Palazzo in the same zone. But if you're ok with any hotel in this zone and want to try to save some cash so go for it.If you need any ID help so please list the amenties HOTWIRE associates with the hotel you're looking at and we'll have a look at this. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Yellowdog. mattrob
But price is so low on Hotwire, it is quite unlikely that I will get any other hotel than the Wynn ? If Hotwire is $ 85, than I could go up to $ 80 on priceline and see what I get. I also received the $5 off email yesterday, which could get me the Wynn for $ 75 or so then .... ? Link to comment
AaronJB
There's always the possibility for surprise with PRICELINE - the Wynn may not have PRICELINE inventory, but may have HOTWIRE inventory, etc. There is the chance you may get something else besides the Wynn.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
