Priceline Hotel: 4 stars NYC Hotel

Hi

Staying in New York City between 2nd -7th of May. Since it is our honeymoon we are looking for a 4 stares hotel, hoping to stay in CPS, MTW OR TS.

Started bidding (through PRICELINE) at $160 up to $182 for the last two weeks all declined.

Can advice?

Max budget per night $190.

We prefer CPS/MTW/TS However we also tried bidding for the same prices and dates at Chelsea and Madison Square Garden with no luck.

We also received at the last couple of day's mails from priceline informing real 4 stars winning customer hotel bids in New York:

TS- $150, MTW- $150, Madison Square Garden- $130.

Those win examples from PRICELINE are not necessarily for your dates, so unfortunately not very helpful for your own bidding.

Is there a reason you haven't include the ESB zone in your 4* bidding?

No reason other than we prefer other zones.

Think there is a good chance at ESB?

You're already very close to your maximum budget and not successful... adding ESB will certainly improve your chances, but as rates are high for these dates it by no means ensures that you'll be successful.
