On March 18, we arrived at the Super 8 motel in Socorro, NM, about 9:30 pm, and the check-in was fast and efficient. We were assigned two rooms in a recently remodeled unit at the rear of the facility. Being too tired to complain about the smoking rooms, we immediately retired for the evening. Shortly after falling to sleep, the management called wanting payment for our PREPAID rooms. I returned to the front desk to investigate the problem.

These rooms were booked through HOTWIRE, and they had transmitted the wrong information to the motel. I was shown the reservation transmittal from Hotwire. To my dismay, the only information that was correct on the reservation request was my LAST name and the number of rooms that we needed.

The motel manager had already spent an undetermined amount of time with Hotwire before I arrived at the desk. The next 40 minutes of my time was spent listening to poor quality music on Hotwire
