Priceline Hotel: 4* San Francisco (Financial District-Embarcadero) Hyatt Regency

Hello,

I'd like to try for a 4* hotel in USE or FD - Emb. with a maximum bid of $80. The Grand Hyatt is coming up at $119 for this weekend on Priceline. What would you suggest for a starting bid? I checked the re-bid zones and it looks like I have six to work with: CC So., Fisherman's Wharf, Japan Town - CC No., Marina-Lombard St., SFO No., and So. SF. Did I get this right?

Yes, you have your re-bid zones at the 4* level correct, but always double check just before bidding to make sure that nothing has changed.

Using your SIX re-bid zones i would bid as follows:

Select 4* USE and Financial-Embarcadero...

Bid $55, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $60, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $65, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $70, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $75, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $78, if rejected add re-bid zone...

Bid $80

In the meantime, I received an e-mail from Priceline, something about saving $5 per night on any "Name Your Own Price" hotel and claiming a bonus cash. Is this the same as bidding through your PRICELINE link? Does the bonus cash automatically apply?

You can still use our PRICELINE link along with your bonus money as follows:

1) click our link to PRICELINE and let the page fully load

2) at the top of the page go to MY PROFILE >> MY REWARDS

3) use the bonus money link found in the MY REWARDS section of your profile (and not the link in any emails sent to you)

Same bid as others who have already posted...Hyatt Regency, $80, 4/23/11-4/25/11. I used your PRICELINE link and the final $80 price included the bonus dollars.

This is a fabulous hotel! I stayed there 9 years ago when in SF and looks like they are still offering great deals on Priceline. Have a trip scheduled for June, so will try to get the same one!

Just tried June 22 through 24 for the Financial District at $65 and added SOMA for $70 and those did not work. Will try $75 when the time frame has reset. Don't want to get stuck in an area I don't want.
