Am i understanding your topic title correctly... you want a 3* or better hotel for one nite, April 19?

If so, rates are extremely high for this nite... what is the best deal you're able to find thru conventional booking channels?

As per my previous statement $150 may not be enough, but do you really want to stay anywhere in Manhattan?? Would staying up north in Harlem (it's still Manhattan), which can be far from the 'central' touristy areas, be acceptable? Would a 15 minute walk to a subway be acceptable? A small room (even by NYC standards) is acceptable as well?
