yellowdog Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 4* in HOLLYWOOD area hotel for $195Best guess would be W Hotel.3* Beverly Hillls/ West Hollywood for $145I'm sorry to say that a 3* property with this amenitie combo has not yet been reported/ID'd to the board. And i don't know the area well enough to take an educated guess for this. 4* Beverly Hills/West HollywoodI can't get the same hotel to appear on my standard search for 1 adults/2 children. Can you please run a new search and confirm that you still can see this hotel on your search. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Yellowdog.
Nowthis Posted April 15, 2011 Author Report Posted April 15, 2011 Hi Yellowdog and thanks again!Just realize that the 4* Beverly Hills/West Hollywood for $214 was a result of typing in 2 adults and 1 kid. We are in fact 1 adult and 2 kids...... does it make difference since there are 3 people in the room either way?Wondering what the 4* might be...... Appreciate all the insights. :)
yellowdog Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 does it make difference since there are 3 people in the room either way?Yes, the results are diffrent. That is why i asked and couldn't see the property. How did you search for the other hotels, 1 adult and 2 kids? Yellowdog. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
Nowthis Posted April 15, 2011 Author Report Posted April 15, 2011 Yes the other hotels were 1 adult, 2 kids.The 3rd hotel (4 star) was 2 adults, 1 kid.Thanks
thereuare Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 Just to clarify (for anyone else following along), you wouldn't have a problem booking for 2adults/1child and showing up with 1adult/2children... but you could have a problem booking for 1adults/2children and showing up with 2adults/1child... since children are sometimes free or booked at a discounted rate. The 3rd hotel (4 star) was 2 adults, 1 kid.I'm not currently seeing the 4* Beverly Hills property appear on my 2adult/1child search for your dates... the 4* hotel i'm being offered has a Boutique icon. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
