SusanCruiser
I have been unsuccessful bidding $55 and then 72 hours later, $65, for a 3 star in Anchorage for 5/24. I don't see a list showing the 2-1/2 star choices in Anchorage so I'm afraid to rebid at a lower rating. Anyone know what the usual results are with 2-1/2 stars? Link to comment
SusanCruiser
Have Hilton Garden Inn by the airport as a cancellable backup but prefer soemthing downtown as we want to explore for the day without worrying about transportation. It looks like if I bid on the 2-1/2* level I could end up with an airport hotel, so will just keep trying for the 3* every 72 hours with fingers crossed. That seems to be our only hope, at least on Priceline. Link to comment
thereuare
Do you mean the HILTON GARDEN INN as a back-up? (for which this board is an affilaite) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
SusanCruiser
Not really sure what you are asking...my DH booked the Hilton Garden Inn Anchorage (by the airport)several weeks ago through their web site just to make sure we have a place to stay. If we have luck finding something else that we prefer, hopefully via PL, we will cancel the HGI reservation. Link to comment
